Epson recently unveiled two ultra portable multimedia projectors in India, the Epson EB-1725 (XGA) and Epson EB-1735W (WXGA), which the company claims is well suited for active, busy users who travel frequently or require mobile presentations.
Epson projectors weigh 1.8 Kgs and offer about 2000:1 contrast ratio. The printers feature 3,000 ANSI lumens of brightness and give the options of standard or widescreen presentations.
The projectors support wireless connectivity and its setup is as simple as inserting a USB key into the projector and then into the notebook. The USB Key will automatically detect and reconfigure the notebook's network settings as a result of which a user can immediately commence the presentation. The original network settings get restored when users remove the USB key from the notebook after the presentation. You can connect up to 4 projectors to the notebook wirelessly.
The Epson EB-1725 and 1735W projectors also come with remote controls with page-up and page-down buttons for uninterrupted presentations, from any corner of the conference rooms or classrooms.
The Epson EB-1725 and EB-1735W projectors also incorporate the Epson Twin Optimized Reflection Lamp (E-TORL) technology that eliminates light leakage and minimizes light defraction, while projecting more light output in lumens (brightness) per watt. The E-TORL technology not only provides users with superior resolution and brighter image quality, but also allows the lamp to last up to 4,000 hours, giving users additional savings amid rising fuel and energy costs.
Furthermore, both projectors feature Epson’s latest high-aperture, 3-Chip 3LCD optical engine that prevents color breakup, a common occurrence in other projector technology in the market.
Available in the Indian market starting this month, the EB-1725 is priced at Rs 92,000, while the EB-1735W is priced at Rs 1,04,600. |
