Symphony Services has announced a series of global expansion plans in India and China to support the company’s aggressive growth and meet increased customer requirements.

As a part of its strategic growth plan, Symphony recently completed building its new Center for Innovation in Product Development in Pune, India.

With 175,000 square feet over eight floors and a capacity of 1,300 people, the Center for Innovation in Product Development is equipped with best-in-class product development infrastructure and employee workspace to provide the tools and environment required for efficient, cutting-edge product innovation and R&D, claimed Symphony.

In addition, Symphony occupies 50,000 square feet of workspace in Pune with a capacity of 400 people in an adjacent facility. Within India, Symphony is also expanding its presence in Bangalore. The first phase of the Bangalore expansion is scheduled to open at the end of 2008, complete with state-of-the-art development and training infrastructure.

“Our ability to deliver value to clients has helped us achieve an above industry rate of growth in revenues and profits, and prompted premier organizations worldwide to partner with Symphony for a host of strategic product engineering initiatives,” said Gordon Brooks, CEO, Symphony Services.

Finally, as part of the company’s commitment to providing global support for product engineering and R&D, Symphony has also expanded its footprint in Beijing, China’s premier software hub. The new facility is located in the Zhongguancun Software Park in the Haidian hi-tech district of Beijing.
