LG Flaunts Designer Smartphone, LG Lotus |

LG Electronics in collaboration with fashion designer Christian Siriano has revealed its maiden designer phone called the LG Lotus.
Measuring 3.3 x 2.4 x 0.7 inch, LG Lotus weighs around 3.7 ounces. It also has a QWERTY keypad. Offering one-click, customizable user interface, the phone gives easy access to texting, Web access, email, Sprint Navigation, Sprint TV and Sprint Music Store.
Ehtisham Rabbani, vice president of product strategy & marketing for LG Mobile Phones said in a press release fashion was important because it helped convey individual personalities, "Similarly, we believe mobile phones have the same ability and have become a fashion accessory within their own right," Rabbani added.
Besides, LG Lotus also has a 2 mega pixel camera along with camcorder, Bluetooth, and music player with external controls in the Lotus. The 12 GB memory phone comes with a microSD memory slot to allow for additional memory capacity.
The LG Lotus will be available in delightful colors like purple with embossed flowers and satin black and is expected to retail for USD 149.99 with a two-year mobile phone contract on Sprint starting October this year. |
