International Business Wales (IBW), the team responsible for the facilitation of trade and inward investment between Wales and other countries, announced the launch of Technium Challenge International, an annual competition that provides unrivalled opportunities for technology companies looking to establish a foothold within the UK marketplace. It is particularly suited to those companies requiring a high level of support to realize their international expansion plans.
This unique initiative provides unrivalled opportunities for Indian IT companies - small, medium or large, looking at the European market. Each country winner will have the opportunity of visiting the UK in May to take part in the 'Learning Journey' where business appointments and general support meetings are set up specifically for the winner's needs.
Andrew Davis, Executive Vice President - Asia Pacific, International Business Wales said that they are extremely happy to launch the Technium Challenge in India. David adds, India is a key region in IBW's global strategy.
On the other hand, Wales is an integral region on the M4 motorway 'corridor of opportunity' and offers Indian businesses excellent potential for trade and investment. "We look forward to widespread participation by Indian companies in this initiative," Davis said.
The competition is open for entries until March 28, 2008 and will be running in Australia, China, France, India, Japan, New Zealand, South Africa, South Korea, the USA, Brazil, Israel, Mexico, Poland, Russia, Spain and Switzerland.
