Ingram Micro has expanded its relationship with EMC by adding EMCs’ storage products to its portfolio as well as by recruiting new EMC partners.
This deal is an extension of Ingram's current EMC portfolio of specific RSA security solutions, Insignia products for small and medium businesses (SMBs), and backup and recovery software solutions. With this deal, Ingram will offer solution providers access to EMC's information storage product portfolio that includes CLARiiON and Celerra networked storage systems. It will also include Centera content addressed storage system.
Scott Look, vice-president of ITS for Ingram Micro North America said, "As we focus on the SMB market space that makes that much more important from a pure storage play. The breadth and scope, along with other products, is strategic for us to be able to build on our storage strategy." |
