Oracle has released its latest semiannual upgrade of its Siebel CRM On Demand product and it has major updates. As opposed to previous releases that had focus on smaller changes, the new release has substantial improvements to its architecture and integration capabilities.

With this new release dubbed Release 14, Oracle has migrated Siebel CRM On Demand to the Oracle grid that will now allow Oracle to host the application in a single user environment, as well as in a shared environment, as before.

The Release 14 is a new product for customers for whom security is of major concern and want to host the CRM on their own.
