Within 48 hours of its first launch, the windows version of Safari Internet browser, was downloaded one million times, Apple Inc has said.
Apple, which directly competes with Microsoft, launched the browser Monday.
According to Apple, Safari had about five per cent of the market share for Internet browsers with more than 18 million users when it was previously available only for Macintosh computers.
It is notable to see how Apple got massive response to its web browser within such a short time despite the strong presence of Windows explorer and Mozilla Firefox. |
